Positive: The bedrooms are really clean and very well equipped. Beds were also comfortable. Convenient to have a restaurant available also. Beautiful location next to the lake; really idyllic and a good starting point for hikers who go on to hike to Montreux through the vineyards.

Negative: The breakfast selection was quite limited and not really worth 20 CHF per person for the quality of the choices available. The site stated that staff spoke English and French; which wasn’t the case for all. I have sufficient French to understand 50% of a conversation but for other travellers, particularly from abroad may struggle in communicating. All information sheets in the room and reception also were only available in French.

Positive: Location is excellent, room was a little small but the view made up for it! Nice dinner in the restaurant, and lovely sitting outside in the morning with a coffee and pastry

Negative: The staff were great, with the exception of one who was not great at the check in, and who also virtually forced us to our rooms at 11pm!

Positive: Staff were super friendly and very helpful. The restaurant food was super and the location was fabalous. Also very acomodating for the dogs.

Negative: The room was very warm so it would have been good to have a single sheet as well as the warm duvet.

Summary: Loved the hotel and particularly the staff.
